Every post describes a specific context, not a generic case. Textile cleaning is a field with a lot of dramatic imagery and few explanations. We want the opposite: less spectacle, more context. That also means being willing to show cases where the result is only partial, or where a stain remains visible despite the treatment. That transparency is what sets us apart.
Every intervention starts with a diagnosis. We identify the type of fabric (woven fabric, microfibre, alcantara, wool, cotton, synthetic blend), its overall condition, the nature of the stains and their likely age. On delicate fabrics, a discreet test is systematic.
A standard fabric sofa and an alcantara sofa are not cleaned the same way, even if both are 'fabric'. A memory-foam mattress does not tolerate the same water load as a spring mattress. A wool rug reacts to heat differently from a synthetic carpet. Our job is to pick the least invasive method for the maximum result.
Our main method on sofas, mattresses and synthetic rugs: a solution is injected and immediately vacuumed out with the soiling. Very consistent, with fine control of moisture.
Used on alcantara, delicate microfibre or some wool rugs. Less water, shorter passes, brushing in the direction of the fibre.
Used on old biological stains, especially urine. It acts on the ammonia salts rather than just the visible colour of the stain.
Before-and-after photos have real value but also limits: light, angle, sharpness and post-processing all shape the impression. We only publish photos taken under comparable conditions and without colour retouching. This avoids illusions and respects the client.
We refuse to pretend everything comes out. On a sofa yellowed by the sun, on fabric partially decoloured by a harsh household product, on a rug left rolled up and damp for weeks, a clean does not undo structural damage. We prefer to say so before intervention.
At the end of an intervention, we systematically explain how to optimise drying: airing, distance from walls, waiting time before use. That advice is as important as the cleaning itself.
